Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take medications and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in conversation to reduce loneliness and improve mental well-being.
- Light Housekeeping: Perform light cleaning duties such as laundry, meal preparation, and tidying the client's living space.
- Mobility Support: Help clients transfer in and out of bed or chairs, and accompany them on walks or medical appointments.
- Documentation: Accurately complete and submit daily care logs and incident reports.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Required for most positions.
- CNA or HHA Certification: Preferred but not strictly required if willing to complete our training program.
- Valid Driver's License: Must have access to a reliable vehicle for client transport (if required).
- Strong Compassion: Genuine desire to help elderly or disabled individuals.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly with patients and family members.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and assist clients weighing up to 250 lbs.
