Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing clients.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using provided patient transfer equipment.
- Monitor and report vital signs and changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social activities, and errands.
- Administer medication as directed by the RN and physician.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Current California Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in home health, geriatric care, or long-term care preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
