Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting support.
- Assist clients with light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and meal preparation.
- Monitor and report changes in client behavior, physical condition, or medication side effects to the nursing supervisor.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping trips, or social outings as needed.
- Assist with mobility exercises and transfers to prevent falls and injuries.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to help reduce feelings of isolation.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the client.
Qualifications
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
