Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals while accommodating special dietary needs
- Administer prescribed medications accurately and document vital signs
- Assist with mobility transfers, ambulation, and therapeutic exercises
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain clean, safe client environments
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Monitor health status changes and communicate concerns to care team
- Comply with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidential client records
Qualifications
- Active Maryland Home Health Aide certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to complete prior to start
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate demeanor
- Reliable transportation and punctuality for client visits
- Physical ability to perform transfers and lift up to 50 pounds
