Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients to improve their quality of life and mental well-being.
- Monitor client health status and report any changes, concerns, or accidents to the registered nurse or supervisor immediately.
- Accurately document daily care logs and patient progress in accordance with company policies.
- Transport clients to and from medical appointments or social activities as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) is a plus but not strictly required for entry-level applicants.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Pass a thorough background check and drug screening.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
