Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks (laundry, dishes, tidying)
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to healthcare team
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and transportation
- Administer medications as per care plan instructions
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Maintain accurate care documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Michigan Home Health Aide certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to assist with client mobility
