Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs accurately
- Light housekeeping tasks and grocery shopping for clients
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Document care activities and maintain client confidentiality
- Report changes in client health to care coordinator promptly
Qualifications
- Current Oregon HHA certification or CNA license required
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid Oregon driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Clear background check and negative TB test
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Strong communication skills and empathy-driven approach
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
