Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor vital signs and document client observations accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light housekeeping duties
- Administer prescribed medications under proper supervision
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Maintain clean, safe home environments for clients
- Communicate effectively with family members and care team
Qualifications
- Current Maryland HHA certification or CNA license required
- Minimum 1 year professional home health experience preferred
- Valid Maryland driver's license and reliable transportation
- Passionate about providing dignified, client-centered care
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Clear background check and negative TB test results
