Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor client health and report any changes in condition to the Registered Nurse (RN) or case manager immediately.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to combat loneliness.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Administer medication reminders and document administration accurately.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry services to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Transport clients to medical appointments or social activities when required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid California CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or PCA (Personal Care Assistant) license is preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Pass a thorough background check and drug screening.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Reliable transportation to and from client locations.
