Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, and transportation to medical appointments.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as assigned.
- Monitor and document vital signs and report any changes in a client's health condition to the nursing supervisor.
- Administer prescribed medications and ensure timely dosage compliance.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to improve the client's quality of life.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for all clients.
Qualifications
- Current California State Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or CNA license required.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient demeanor.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
