Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient health, mood, or behavior to the supervising nurse.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by the care plan.
- Transport patients to medical appointments and run essential errands.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment for clients.
Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma from an accredited Home Health Aide or CNA program.
- Current state licensure (if applicable) and a valid driver's license.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients weighing up to 250 lbs safely.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Reliable transportation and a commitment to punctuality.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen.
