Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry as assigned to maintain a safe living environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the nursing supervisor.
- Accurately document daily care logs and progress notes.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is a plus but not strictly required for qualified candidates.
- Valid Driverβs License and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- A genuine passion for helping others and a patient demeanor.
