Your Role
As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in our patients' daily lives, providing assistance with personal care and light household tasks to ensure their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary restrictions.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with light household chores to maintain a safe living environment.
- Transport patients to medical appointments and social activities as needed.
- Monitor patients' physical and emotional conditions, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing team immediately.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the patient's quality of life.
- Document daily care activities and patient progress accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is strongly preferred.
- Current valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with patients and families.
- Ability to lift and assist patients with mobility needs.
- Must pass a background check, drug screen, and health assessment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a significant plus in the Miami area.
