Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and pulse, reporting changes to the nursing team immediately.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families to reduce isolation.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, meal preparation, and vacuuming, as assigned.
- Assist with mobility assistance and transportation to medical appointments or social activities.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and daily care logs.
- Adhere to all company policies, HIPAA regulations, and state health department guidelines.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- CNA or Home Health Aide certification preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be patient, empathetic, and detail-oriented.
