As a Home Health Aide, you will be an essential part of our patients' lives, providing comfort, dignity, and support in their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services including bathing, dressing, and grooming to patients in their homes.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Prepare meals according to special dietary requirements and assist with feeding.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to ensure a safe, clean environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Document daily care activities and patient progress in accordance with state regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is preferred.
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to perform lifting and standing tasks for extended periods.
