Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in client health to RN supervisors
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation
- Perform light housekeeping tasks (laundry, tidying, meal prep)
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Maintain accurate care documentation in electronic health records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Oregon CNA certification preferred (not required)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Compassionate demeanor with patience for elderly/disabled clients
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with proper techniques
