Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their quality of life.
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands as directed.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or emotional condition to the nursing supervisor.
- Administer medication reminders according to physician orders.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with mobility if necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients.
Qualifications
- Current California Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or license.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and transferring clients.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
