Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Provide medication reminders and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishwashing, to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping trips, or social activities to provide companionship and support.
- Document daily care activities and report any concerns or incidents to the Case Manager immediately.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all clients at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient and empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
