Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide light housekeeping and meal preparation services.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with prescribed exercises.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided in electronic health records.
- Transport clients to medical appointments or social activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Current California Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a patient demeanor.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Experience in geriatric care is a plus.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
