Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation to ensure a safe living environment.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in the client's condition to the nursing supervisor.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversations and activities.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and run errands as needed.
- Administer medication reminders as directed by the supervising nurse.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace for clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift and assist patients as needed.
