Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and maintain a safe environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to lonely or isolated patients
- Follow individualized care plans with precision and compassion
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of professional caregiving experience required
- Current Indiana Home Health Aide certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Valid Indiana driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass comprehensive background and drug screening
- Basic CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to complete)
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
