Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with special dietary needs
- Light housekeeping tasks and errand management
- Document client progress and report changes to care team
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional home health aide experience
- Valid District of Home Care Aide Certification (DHCA)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Fluent English with excellent communication skills
- Passionate about elderly care and sensitive to client needs
- Background check and drug screening required
