Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor vital signs and document client observations accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and prescribed exercises
- Manage medication reminders and light housekeeping duties
- Transport clients to appointments and errands
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client information
Qualifications
- Current Kansas HHA certification or CNA license required
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid Kansas driver's license and reliable vehicle
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to perform client transfers and stand for extended periods
- Compassionate attitude and patience working with elderly/disabled clients
