Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care team
- Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate logs
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Light housekeeping and organization of client living spaces
- Maintain detailed care documentation and follow care plans
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Colorado driver's license and reliable vehicle
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and compassion when working with elderly clients
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
