Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care team
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and maintain safe living environments
- Administer medications and follow prescribed care plans
- Document care activities and maintain accurate client records
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience required
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable vehicle
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background check and TB screening
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly clients
- Flexibility to work weekends and some holidays
- Knowledge of senior care best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
