Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful social interactions
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care coordinator
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and maintain a safe environment
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Administer medications according to care plan guidelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience (home care preferred)
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, compassion, and cultural sensitivity
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
