Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs
- Transport clients to appointments and errands
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Engage clients in meaningful activities
- Maintain detailed care records
- Communicate effectively with families and medical staff
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable vehicle
- Clear background check and TB test
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and empathy skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexibility with morning/afternoon/evening shifts
- Positive attitude and patience working with seniors
