Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Manage patient records using digital dental software (Epic, Dentrix)
- Sterilize equipment and maintain infection control protocols
- Take dental impressions and prepare diagnostic materials
- Coordinate patient flow and chairside assistance
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
- Provide post-op care instructions to patients
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Florida Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in digital radiography and imaging systems
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental board regulations
- Exceptional chairside manner and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
