Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/EagleSoft software with HIPAA compliance
- Perform sterilization protocols and maintain infection control standards
- Take and develop diagnostic X-rays using digital radiography systems
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for clinical procedures
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Coordinate scheduling and inventory management for dental supplies
Qualifications
- Current California Dental Assistant Radiograph License (RDA)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a general dentistry setting
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal
- Proficiency in digital radiography and dental practice management software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental board regulations
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
