Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care team
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Light housekeeping duties (laundry, dishes, tidying)
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Administer prescribed medications under supervision
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- New Mexico HHA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Clean background check and TB test
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Compassionate personality with strong communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility with weekend and evening shifts
