Responsibilities
- Provide daily personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist clients with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and laundry.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes, symptoms, or concerns to the supervising nurse or agency.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and community outings.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for patients.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with prescribed exercises as directed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CNA, HHA, or CMA certification is preferred but not strictly required for immediate hire.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
