Responsibilities
- Rapidly assess incoming patient calls/visits using standardized triage protocols
- Prioritize cases based on medical urgency and criticality
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate immediate interventions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with detailed documentation
- Provide clear patient education and discharge instructions
- Oversee patient flow through the emergency department
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic or similar EMR systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong communication abilities across diverse populations
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
