Responsibilities
- Triage incoming patient calls using clinical judgment to prioritize care urgency
- Conduct comprehensive telehealth assessments for diverse patient populations
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to develop treatment plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Provide education on home care and follow-up instructions
- Manage patient flow for urgent care and emergency departments
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress environments
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Spanish bilingual preferred
