Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps across quantum AI, synthetic biology, and neuro-interfaces
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with 18-month deployment cycles
- Conduct horizon-scanning for emerging technologies and assess market viability
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and Fortune 500 R&D divisions
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants and venture capital for experimental projects
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Mentor junior innovators in futuristic methodologies and ethical tech frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in R&D leadership with proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuro-interfaces
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technologies deployed at scale or in advanced trials
- Strong background in ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation principles
- Experience securing government grants and venture capital for experimental projects
- Exceptional strategic communication skills with executive audiences
