Responsibilities
- Assist in complex restorative and cosmetic procedures including implants, veneers, and full-mouth reconstructions
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems with precision
- Coordinate sterilization protocols and inventory management for 6 operatories
- Mentor 2-3 dental assistants on advanced techniques and patient communication
- Implement infection control standards exceeding OSHA requirements
- Chairside assistance for sedation dentistry and surgical procedures
- Maintain digital patient records and practice management software
Qualifications
- 3+ years of dental assisting experience in a high-volume practice
- Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification required
- CPR/BLS certification and current radiology license
- Proficiency with Dexis, Eaglesoft, and digital imaging systems
- Exceptional chairside skills for complex procedures
- Strong leadership abilities and mentorship experience
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and dental billing protocols
- Associate's degree in dental assisting preferred
