Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex restorative and cosmetic procedures
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Implement strict infection control protocols and OSHA compliance
- Oversee sterilization process and inventory management
- Train new dental assistants on clinic protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for specialized procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and digital charting
- Coordinate with lab technicians for case planning
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania Dental Assistant license or DANB certification
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general/cosmetic dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification and X-ray radiation safety training
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Exceptional communication and chairside manner skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Experience with digital impression systems (e.g., iTero)
