Responsibilities
- Perform advanced chairside assistance during complex restorative and surgical procedures
- Manage digital radiography systems and intraoral imaging with precision
- Train and mentor new dental assistants on clinic protocols
- Oversee infection control compliance and sterilization processes
- Coordinate seamless patient flow between operatories and treatment areas
- Assist in treatment documentation using Dentrix/Epic software
- Prepare specialized materials for cosmetic and orthodontic procedures
Qualifications
- Current RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) license in California
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Advanced knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance standards
- Proficiency in digital radiography and CBCT imaging
- Certificate in nitrous oxide monitoring or conscious sedation
- Exceptional patient communication and chairside manner
- Experience with dental practice management software
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
