Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and restorative treatments
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging with precision
- Oversee sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance
- Train new assistants on clinical workflows and software systems
- Coordinate patient education and treatment planning
- Maintain digital patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or AZDA)
- 3+ years of chairside experience in general dentistry
- Expertise in digital radiography and infection control
- CPR/BLS certification
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced settings
- Strong knowledge of dental materials and instruments
- Exceptional patient communication skills
