Responsibilities
- Perform chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implants and cosmetic treatments
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging using advanced equipment
- Oversee sterilization protocols and infection control standards compliance
- Coordinate patient flow and chairside efficiency with 3+ dental assistants
- Maintain digital patient records using Dentrix/EagleSoft software
- Assist in training new dental assistants on clinic protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for multi-specialty procedures
- Provide exceptional patient education and comfort measures
Qualifications
- CDA or RDA certification with 3+ years of clinical experience
- Expertise in digital radiography and CBCT imaging
- Proficiency in dental practice management software (Dentrix preferred)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Experience with nitrous oxide monitoring and conscious sedation
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal
- Exceptional communication skills and chairside manner
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced multi-doctor environment
