Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implants and orthodontics
- Manage digital radiography and CAD/CAM systems with precision
- Implement strict infection control protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Train and mentor junior assistants on clinical workflows
- Coordinate patient education on post-operative care and oral hygiene
- Maintain inventory of premium dental materials and equipment
- Assist in practice management software operations
Qualifications
- CDA or RDA certification required with 3+ years experience
- Advanced knowledge of dental radiography and infection control
- Experience with digital impression systems and CBCT imaging
- Exceptional chairside demeanor for anxious patients
- CPR/BLS certification maintained
- Strong organizational skills for multi-doctor coordination
- Commitment to continuing education in dental technologies
- Valid Florida dental assistant license
