Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and restorative treatments
- Manage patient flow and ensure optimal clinic efficiency
- Perform advanced radiography and diagnostic imaging
- Oversee sterilization protocols and infection control compliance
- Train and mentor new dental assistants
- Maintain accurate digital patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft
- Coordinate lab cases and material inventory
- Deliver exceptional patient education and comfort
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or DANB required
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Ohio radiography license and nitrous oxide monitoring certification
- Expertise in digital radiography and intraoral cameras
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- CPR/BLS certification
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Experience with dental practice management software
