Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex restorative and cosmetic procedures
- Execute digital radiography and intraoral imaging protocols
- Manage sterilization and infection control compliance (OSHA/CDC standards)
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering for 5 operatories
- Train new dental assistants on practice workflows and technologies
- Coordinate patient education and post-op care instructions
- Support front desk operations during peak hours
Qualifications
- Current DANB/CDA certification required
- Minimum 3 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- DEXIS/Patterson imaging experience preferred
- CPR/BLS certification with current status
- Excellent communication skills and chairside manner
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- North Carolina dental radiography license
