Responsibilities
- Perform chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implants and restorations
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Sterilize equipment and maintain OSHA-compliant operatory protocols
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering for 8-operatories
- Train new dental assistants on clinical workflows and software
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure seamless patient flow
- Assist with administrative tasks including insurance verification and scheduling
Qualifications
- Active Texas Dental Assistant License or DANB certification
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general or cosmetic dentistry
- Expertise in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Proven leadership or mentorship experience
