Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including implants and orthodontics
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Oversee sterilization protocols and infection control compliance
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants
- Prepare treatment rooms and specialized equipment
- Implement patient education protocols
- Manage digital charting and practice management software
Qualifications
- 3+ years of dental assisting experience in a specialty practice
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA license
- Advanced certification in radiography and infection control
- Proficiency with digital imaging (DEXIS, Carestream)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Exceptional patient communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
