Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implant placement and cosmetic treatments
- Manage digital radiography systems (CBCT/Panoramic) and intraoral imaging
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA compliance protocols
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants on clinical workflows
- Coordinate patient education on oral hygiene procedures
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment maintenance
- Assist in treatment planning coordination with dental team
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) required
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Advanced radiography certification (DANB/RHS preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification current
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
