Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging with precision
- Oversee sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance in 4-operatories
- Train new assistants on practice systems and patient care protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Deliver exceptional patient education on post-op care and oral hygiene
- Coordinate seamlessly with front desk for smooth patient flow
- Maintain accurate digital patient records in Eaglesoft software
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years chairside dental assisting experience in general or cosmetic practice
- Active DANB certification or Pennsylvania RDA license
- Proficiency in digital radiography and CBCT imaging
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal
- Expertise in infection control protocols and OSHA standards
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse patient demographics
- Experience with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced environment
