Responsibilities
- Perform advanced chairside assisting during complex procedures including implants, orthodontics, and cosmetic dentistry
- Manage digital radiography systems and intraoral imaging with precision
- Execute infection control protocols exceeding OSHA and CDC standards
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants on clinical workflows
- Coordinate patient education using digital tools and visual aids
- Maintain digital treatment records and practice management software
- Assist in practice expansion initiatives including new technology integration
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) required
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general or specialty dentistry
- Advanced knowledge of digital radiography and imaging software
- CPR/BLS certification and current HIPAA compliance training
- Proven ability to manage high-volume patient schedules
- Strong communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Experience with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
