Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical cases
- Manage digital radiography (X-rays) and intraoral imaging systems
- Oversee sterilization protocols and inventory management
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants
- Execute infection control procedures exceeding OSHA standards
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize chairside efficiency
- Assist with dental software (Epic, Dentrix) documentation
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or DANB required
- Minimum 3 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Expertise in radiography and sterilization techniques
- Strong knowledge of dental materials and instruments
- Exceptional communication and patient rapport skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Experience with digital impressions preferred
