Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks through trend analysis, horizon scanning, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to translate future insights into product roadmaps and business strategies
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, government bodies, and innovation labs
- Deliver executive briefings on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal impacts
- Build and mentor a high-performing futures research team
- Author thought leadership publications and industry whitepapers
- Integrate ESG principles into long-term strategic planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation, or futures research leadership
- Proven track record of developing 5-10 year strategic frameworks
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and societal implications
- Exceptional data modeling, scenario planning, and systems thinking skills
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and boards
- Published author in futurism or strategic foresight publications
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
