Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight framework using predictive analytics and trend synthesis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities across 15+ industries
- Produce quarterly strategic briefings for the Board of Directors on emerging paradigm shifts
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, World Economic Forum, and NASA Innovation Hub
- Mentor a global team of futurists while maintaining thought leadership through keynote speaking
- Architect the company's 2026 product portfolio, securing $50M+ in R&D funding
- Represent Nexus Horizons at Davos, CES, and other premier future-focused forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in strategic foresight with Fortune 500 companies or equivalent
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ successful launches)
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and technology roadmapping
- Published author in peer-reviewed futurist journals or top-tier business publications
- Proficiency in AI-powered trend analysis tools (e.g., GPT-4, Palantir)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to C-suite audiences
